TURKEY TAIL MUSHROOM Trametes (Coriolus ) versicolor "Yun Zhi"
Attractive fan shaped multi-colored mushroom found growing on logs throughout the world’s forests. Long used in Chinese and Japanese medicine, esteemed by Taoist priests. Traditionally employed to strengthen, increase energy and reduce phlegm. The best documented medicinal mushroom and source of one of the leading anticancer and chemoprotective drugs, Krestin, a polysaccharide that has substantially increased survival rates in cancer patients. Turkey Tail contains several polysaccharides demonstrated to be antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant, inhibit Candida, bolster immunity, protect the liver and kidneys. 1–3 teaspoons (2–6 grams) a day.
